Meet Danielle
Danielle is a recent graduate of San Francisco State University, where she received her B.S. in Spanish after falling in love with the language and culture during her own study abroad experience in Spain. Her favorite memories of studying abroad are all the great cooking recipes she learned from her Spanish roommate, taking Spanish art history classes (and then seeing those works of art in person), the amazing people she met, and above all learning Spanish so she was able to communicate comfortably for the first time with her Cuban grandmother. She has lived in just about every neighborhood in San Francisco but now calls the Mission District home, where she practices headstands in the living room, takes samba classes in the evenings, and keeps an herb garden on the back porch. Her next destination is South America.
