- Go beyond visiting a new destination and learn what it's really like to live abroad. Become involved in the community by working side-by-side with local people, and make life-long international friends at the same time. You will gain a broader perspective of the world as you are exposed to new cultural, historical and political points of view.
- Improve Your Foreign Language Skills
- There is no better way to learn a new language or improve your foreign language skills than by being exposed to another language 24 hours per day. Each year, students tell us that their biggest personal success was going from limited language skills or classroom-only skills, to near fluency in a second language. In addition, some colleges will grant college credit for advanced second language skills gained while abroad.
