Scholarships
Looking for help on financing your Culture+ program? Intrax Study Abroad has developed partial scholarships so all students are able to enjoy the benefits of our programs. These scholarships are open to all Intrax Study Abroad program applicants that meet our eligibility requirements.
The earlier you apply for an Intrax program, the more likely it is that you will receive a scholarship. To be considered for a scholarship, you must be an Intrax Study Abroad student applicant and have sent in your enrollment form and deposit with a completed scholarship application. We also expect our scholarship recipients to be model students who demonstrate an adaptable, flexible and mature personality, a desire to be challenged, and the ability to remain open-minded and tolerant of cultural differences.
Just released: Up to $3000 in scholarship opportunities to study abroad in China this summer with Intrax!
As part of Intrax Study Abroad's commitment to inspire students to become global citizens, we have released a special scholarship fund specifically for Intrax’s summer 2008 China program. Outstanding students will be awarded up to $3000!
The application deadline is April 18th but Intrax Study Abroad encourages students to apply as soon as possible. Scholarships will get swept up quickly to motivated students who apply early and are committed to academic innovation, global citizenship and cultural exploration.

Culture+ Scholarships
Awards of $100 to $500 are granted to college study abroad applicants on the basis of academic merit, global citizenship and personal and professional goals. Preference will be given to students who have demonstrated their commitment to studying abroad.
How to Apply for a Scholarship:
- Complete Intrax's Culture+ Scholarship application
- Write a 500-word essay describing why study abroad meets your personal, academic and professional goals
- Enclose an unofficial transcript
- Enclose a letter of recommendation from a professor, employer or advisor

Applications must be postmarked by the following dates:
- Intrax's Culture+ Summer programs: April 18th, 2008
- Intrax's Culture+ January programs: November 1, 2008
Enrollment Deposit:
Upon request, Intrax can hold your enrollment deposit until after you are notified of your scholarship status. Once notified, you must provide a written confirmation within one week that you either:
- Accept the award and are committed to participating in an Intrax Culture+ program.
- Have decided to cancel your application. Your credit card will be charged $100.00 as an application review fee.
