Housing
While based in Okazaki city you have the option to choose either a dormitory or homestay. Homestays allow for a deeper immersion into the local culture and provide invaluable contact with native Japanese speakers. Your host family will provide you with 2 meals each day. If you chose to stay in a dormitory, meals may not be included, but you will receive a meal stipend and there will be a kitchen facility available. During field excursions, hotel accommodations, Ryokan (Japanese traditional inn) and temple stays will be provided.
