Academics
With our partner university in Buenos Aires, Intrax has carefully designed a three-week program where you will cultivate Intercultural Competence (ICC) with a focus on Spanish language acquisition. In conjunction with classroom instruction, you will integrate with the local community in ways that will emphasize and enhance your ICC instruction. Coursework focuses on such topics as cultural identity, cross-cultural communications, global skills and conflict resolution. The ICC and Spanish language coursework will be both administered in the classroom and reinforced during field-based studies. Earn up to a total of 6 academic credits for our unique academic program.
Intrax's cutting edge curriculum takes learning out of the classroom and puts your language and intercultural competence skills to practical use during local excursions and cultural activities in Buenos Aires. Exploring Argentina is not only exciting and fun, but it is also a great way to learn the regional differences that exist within the country. Through local travel you will learn how the Argentinean culture was shaped by the country's history and local environments.
Intrax's programs are fully accredited by a US university, enabling students to easily transfer academic credit to their home university. Please see the academic credit section for more details.
