Academic Credit
For many Intrax students, receiving academic credit for your study abroad experience is essential. Here are some tips to make your credit transfer process as easy as possible.
Since all of our academic programming is developed in partnership with accredited institutions both in the United States and internationally, your home institution should allow you to earn credit for your coursework on Intrax Study Abroad programs. Even better, you can request an official transcript from Hamline University, Intrax's US University of Record, to further facilitate the transfer of credits back to your home institution. Each college or university has its own policy when it comes to transferring credit, so it is up to you to make sure you have all the necessary documents for your home institution.
Advanced planning is crucial. To guarantee Intrax students' study abroad is recognized academically we require all credit-seeking students to complete the following steps before embarking on our programs:
- Bring all Intrax program syllabi and course descriptions to the study abroad advisor at your home institution (All program information can be obtained from your Intrax advisor)
- Have the Credit Approval Form signed by the appropriate authority at your home institution
- Send in the credit approval form with your Intrax application
